These are a replacement for a pair that has worn out at the knees but keep reading. My daughter comes home from school every day looking like she has been fighting a guerilla war in the Everglades. The fact that the trousers only have worn knees after 4 months, and don't resemble an urban gillie suit is a testament to their sound construction. She is very particular about the fit of clothes; she does not want anything to get in the way of her shinning up drainpipes, rolling in piles of leaves, or celebrating the wonder of the mud kitchen with full force. These are just a bit baggies than leggings and have stretch, so she can frolic in the foliage unrestricted. Importantly, there are many pockets, so she can carry a full catalogue of stones, bits of string, pen lids, bottle tops, marbles and whatever shiny things she finds. The adjustable waist is great as she is taller than she is wide, and her passion for arboreal combat games means that the waistband stays on the waist and not in the tree.This child has destroyed many items of school uniform, and these are by far the best trousers we have had.

Great item , as described. Had many pairs of the trousers as our daughter has grown.Slim fit, not tight though. A nice straight narrow leg.Soft material and washes well.Would recommend

Lovely trousers, nice material. Just fits on length but be even better if they did these in long legged. Very hard to get long legged school trousers for girls.
